I've just spent the weekend at your stunning home with Manda Scott on the Firegate weekend. I want to say thank you for allowing us to have such a wonderful & life-affirming weekend in the beauty that is your wonderful home. Holycombe is such a special place where I felt connections to the land and the world beyond through the gateway that is Holycombe and I thank you deeply for allowing us to be there.

We had a really wonderful time at Holycombe last weekend - thank you for allowing us to use the venue, including your home, for Mum's 70th birthday celebration. Everyone commented on what a lovely place it is, and how ideally it suited our celebrations, from the glorious space in the Angel Room to the more intimate dinner in the conservatory, the range of rooms to sleep which helped minimise disturbances, and the proximity to the village and transport links which enabled relatives from all over the country to join us.

About The Lodge & Studio
We had a wonderful time. The lodge was very cosy and warm and we felt very comfortable and relaxed there. The weather was good and we had some lovely long walks in Whichford Wood and spotted a white deer (a white heart). It was beautiful. The local pub (Norman Knight) was great too. Everyone was very friendly and the food was very good. All in all a great holiday break.

I wanted to drop you a note to say thank you so much for your hospitality during our stay there. You and your lovely family, not to mention the beautiful surroundings of Holycombe, helped to make my vacation the most amazing two weeks of my life. (so far, at least!) We're hoping to be able to visit again next year, and there's nowhere else we'd rather stay! Just a quick note to say thanks for a great stay in your studio. Mark and I left today at 12. We had a really great time and both thought the studio was a perfect place to relax and stretch out for a few days. A real cosy nest!...you've got a fantastic place there and I'll look forward to recommending the studio to my friends.

We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Chica. We thought the house was beautiful, wonderfully decorated and in keeping with the local traditions. We would love to see the " before and after pictures" as you must have done a lot of work to get the house to such a great standard. The pool was lovely and very welcome and refreshing as we had very beautiful and hot weather during our stay. The house really felt as a home from home except better as we don't get such good weather and wonderful views in Yorkshire. We also appreciated having Janet next door as she was very welcoming and even provided some of her garden vegetables as very welcome extras to our meals. We all had a wonderful holiday and will remember it and the house for a long time. Thank you again

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in your lovely Spanish house. The holiday went very smoothly - no real problems to report!! Spent a day on the coast at Playa de Cabria. Had lunch in one of the restaurants before going back home for a siesta! Some of us visited the Alhambra and the girls went on an evening pony trek at Caballo Blanco. We visited Orgiva on several occasions either by foot or in the car - mainly to get food supplies etc and we ate at 'Barrackas' twice - we all really liked it there! Many thanks again for a wonderfully relaxing holiday - we are already thinking about a return trip sometime - perhaps when the weather is a little cooler!

I just wanted to say what a lovely time we had at Casa Chica, and in Spain as a whole. It was lovely to go back somewhere we already knew a bit and also to get to know it a bit better! There was a bit of a nip in the air this year, but the sun shone every day so that was perfect. All the poor avocado trees looked a bit frost bitten, and the almond blossom was late appearing according to Los locals. But when it did come out in our second week it was glorious! The smell is just heavenly.

I have been working from Holycombe for about 9 or 10 years now, and have always found it such a wonderfully relaxing environment to work in. A lovely calm surrounds Holycombe, which really helps with my clients, helping them to relax and enjoy their massage sessions. Holycombe draws such a wide variety of people to its classes and weekend retreats. There is always a lot going on, classes and courses to suit all.
I have also found everyone running Holycombe to be so very helpful, nothing is too much trouble and Sally and her team always reply promptly to emails and phone messages.
