Your counsellor is there to join you in exploring your inner world of feelings, worries and concerns in a completely confidential, warm, safe and non judgemental way. You will be accepted for what you are. As your relationship with your counsellor develops you will begin to gain new insights into yourself. From these insights change will follow naturally. Hypnotherapy is very effective for making specific changes in our lives:- Hypnotherapy
to lose weight, stop smoking, improve confidence, release anxieties, etc. The modern techniques of Hypnosis and Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) often work very quickly and many straightforward problems can be dealt with in just one session. More complex issues will require more sessions, but you can expect to achieve improvement or progress after each consultation.
The hypnotic process begins with a deep relaxation of mind and body. You will be asked to close your eyes to enhance the experience. The desired changes occur at a subconscious level through an experience similar to an intense day-dream, directed and guided by the therapist. It is very safe and you remain aware and in control at all times.
I qualified as a Hypnotherapist in 2004 and am a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy. I also hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and undertake regular ‘professional development’ courses to keep up to date with modern therapeutic practices.

What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique is an amazingly effective treatment which involves gently tapping energy points around the body whilst the client thinks of their emotional or physical issues. Yes – most definitely physical as well.
Every thing that has ever happened to us is stored somewhere in the body. Any negative emotions, stress or trauma we have experienced may manifest in turn in the form of an illness, emotional issues or physical pain or just something that holds us back.
I have been doing Energy Work since 1995. I am a qualified Kinesiologist, Nutritionist, Feng Shui Consultant and EFT Advanced Practitioner as well as teacher . I have had great results with the above and combine these skills with EFT.

What does it do?
Muscle Testing is the tool used to ascertain a ‘yes’ or a ‘no’ response to a therapeutic question by means of a strong or weak response in the muscle.
Corrections are then made eg. Muscle balancing, Flower remedies given, food intolerances detected etc.
Food Sensitivity Testing
Kinesiology is perhaps best known for Allergy and Intolerance detection.
The suspect substance is put on the body and a muscle tested. The muscle will test weak if the body is stressed by the food/substance. Examples of substances that can be tested are:
Foods, Chemicals. Metals, Dental Tests, Digestive Enzymes, Food Additives, Parasites, Pollens, Dust and Moulds, Drugs, Toxins and Viruses, Vaccinations and many others.
