Shamanic trance dance is a powerful form of movement. Its ultimate purpose is to provide an opportunity for each participant to completely ‘let go’ on a physical, mental and spiritual level, which may lead to a heightened sense of well being, relaxation and release of anxiety. For some participants, it can prove to be a very cathartic experience. It is an ancient form of self –expression which remains as relevant today as it did when first practised many thousands of years ago.

Midweek Breaks in the Lodge Retreat House

We are now offering midweek self-catering breaks in the Lodge Retreat House. A variety of therapies can be arranged for you while you are here (see therapies on the menu) and the possibility of joining some of the classes. This runs from Monday evening through to Thursday morning and the price depends on the occupancy, but starts at £42.50 minimum per person per 24 hours, minimum 2 nights, with you bringing your own bed linen, towel and food. Camping

Holycombe has a lovely camping area with flush and compost loos and hot showers. We will be putting the Tipi up in May, and also we have a geodesic dome and beduin tent, and all these spaces can be rented, including at most weekends. See tel. above or email on sally@holycombe.com
